The Ogemaw Heights defense got knocked for a loop.

But what comes around, goes around.

After surrendering a touchdown to Gladwin on the first drive of the game, the Falcons became dominant, clamping down for a 42-14 victory in the key Jack Pine Conference-1 showdown.

Ogemaw (2-1, 1-0) scored 35 straight points after the hot start for Gladwin (0-3, 0-1). The Flying G’s had a chance to tie the game with less than two minutes left in the first half, but Ogemaw safety Corie Kanitz came up to make a huge stop on fourth-and-2 inside the Ogemaw 10.
