Heritage played a game of takeway against Hudson’s Bay on Friday night.

The Timberwolves’ defense came up with four interceptions and one fumble as Heritage rolled to 47-0 win over the Eagles at Kiggins Bowl.

“We’ve just been dialed in these last two weeks of practice,” senior Jacob Karpyuk said. “We’ve been locked in, flying around, doing our jobs and finishing.”

The Heritage offense sputtered early in the game, but the Timberwolves defense made sure Bay did not go anywhere.

Heritage pinned Bay in its own territory early, leading to a safety when the snap on a punt sailed out of the back of the end zone.

Treylon McGraw and Karpyuk came up with first-quarter interceptions as Heritage took a 12-0 lead.
