A Wilmington man has been sentenced to more than 27 years in prison after pleading guilty to sex trafficking charges.
Christopher Todd Evans, 41, has been sentenced to 327 months in prison after pleading guilty on Feb. 25, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice. Evans operated an escorting website and business between 2010 and 2022, according to the release. The business was initally named Cape Fear Entertainers and later changed to Cape Fear Escorts. Through the business, he prostituted more than 200 adult and minor females, the release states.
