FELCH TOWNSHIP – The North Dickinson Nordics began their 2025 season without their leader, Raina Ledzian, who was unable to play because of a sprained ankle.

The Nordics went 0-1-2 at the Kingford Invitational without Ledzian, but since her return, North Dickinson has won three straight matches and 9 of the 10 sets played, including Thursday’s 25-20, 25-11, 25-21 win over visiting Carney-Nadeau.

Ledzian finished the match with 19 assists, 12 aces, eight digs and five kills.

“Raina played another all-around stellar match, running a diverse offensive attack and varying her service strategy,” ND coach Taylor Johnson said.

Ledzian had plenty of help throughout the Nordic lineup. Aubrey Applekamp recorded seven kills and four blocks, Cami Sleeter posted six kills and two aces and Nadia Carp
