Ryan Reynolds is bringing his John Candy documentary tour to the Garden State.

The State Theatre in New Brunswick is one of only eight scheduled dates nationwide for a screening of "John Candy: I Like Me" hosted by actor, producer and entrepreneur Reynolds, star of the "Deadpool" franchise.

The screening is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The evening will feature a screening of the documentary, which celebrates the life and legacy of the beloved comedian, "including Candy’s friends and family," organizers say. The conversation will focus on Candy’s artistry, generosity and lasting influence.
