New Hampshire is a beautiful place, especially when it comes to its fall foliage and lakes.

Yankee Magazine made a list of the top six calming places to celebrate New England fall foliage, and one New Hampshire lake made the list.

"Each of these six venues, however, provides access to Mother Earth’s autumnal blaze in a serene setting without the distraction of crowds," the magazine said.
