100 Years Ago, 1925: Theodore Dransfield, 73 years old, a native of Upland, and who saw service in the Civil War, serving in company D, 203rd Regiment, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard Loughead, 28 Sixth St., after an illness of about three months. He was born in England and came to this country with his parents when only a small boy. His family settled in Upland and he has always made his home there and in Chester.

75 Years Ago, 1950: Milk dealers will face a fine in Ridley Park if they deliver milk which has been pasteurized for more than 48 hours.
