FAIRMONT — A paranormal horror might rise at the Marion County Courthouse next year.

The film company Allegheny Image Factory dropped hints of film production in Weston at Wednesday’s meeting of the Marion County Commission. The Morgantown-based production company is producing an adaptation of “Seven-X,” a novel written by TV and film producer Mike Wech. According to the Amazon description, an investigative reporter commits himself into an asylum where radical experimental procedures were conducted on patients without their consent. Paranormal hijinks potentially ensue.
