Knox Fiscal Court approves KPDI grant application, change order, and interfund transfer during meeting

BARBOURVILLE — The Knox County Fiscal Court convened for a special-called meeting on Monday, September 8, where members addressed a change order for the Knox County Administrative Building, a $2 million grant application, and a transfer of funds to cover jail expenses.

The session opened with a motion to approve a change order from JBK Roofing and DWB Builders for the county’s administrative building. Judge-Executive Mike Mitchell explained that the update would cover improvements to the structure’s exterior.
