St. Paul’s didn’t have an answer for Easton Royal on Sept. 12.

The Wolves fell to Brother Martin 37-27 in large part to the dominant junior receiver’s performance that included 243 yards and three touchdowns, and a fourth score passing that put the game out of reach of a potential comeback.

“You have to credit No. 3 (Royal). He’s a heck of a player for them,” St. Paul's coach Kenny Sears said. “He came up with a big play after we failed on fourth down. For us, it was a lot of penalties and special teams errors, a lot of self-inflicted wounds that probably could have flipped the tide here and there.”
