The University of Missouri is coming off an exhilarating victory over much-despised foe Kansas last weekend but is taking a step backward in the level of fan appeal for its foe Saturday when Louisiana comes to Columbia.

That’s not Louisiana State, the Southeastern Conference school in Baton Rogue. It’s Louisiana, the Sun Belt Conference school in Lafayette.

While MU’s 42-31 come-from-behind victory over KU was televised nationally, by ESPN2 and was seen in 6.3% of the St. Louis market according to Nielsen, the Lafayette contest is set to only be streamed. It will be on ESPN+, a subscription outlet, but also will be carried on SEC Network+ with no additional charge to most viewers who buy a service that carries the SEC Network television channel.

Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
