The Lebanon Pioneers kept their perfect record intact on Friday night thanks to the passing perfection of senior quarterback Michael "Mr. Energy" Reece.
Reece was flawless in terms of flinging the pigskin as he threw seven touchdowns through the air in Lebanon’s 53-22 Southwest District football victory over the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes.
Lebanon’s statistician had Reece going 20-for-20 for 400 yards.
A different stat guy had him finishing 18-for-18 with 356 yards.
Yet another source had him 19-for-20 for 397 yards, noting that he did spike the ball in an attempt to kill the clock in the first half. Some high school statisticians count that as a team pass attempt.
