SHREVEPORT, La. - Early Saturday morning, a fire broke out in the 500 block of Jordan Street, near Highland Avenue.
According to the Shreveport Fire Department, a two-story vacant home caught fire.
They said due to the volume of the fire, it took two ladder trucks to fight the blaze from above.
SFD said another vacant home was vulnerable to the flames, so firefighters also cleared that home.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was sent to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
