A police investigation has been launched after a young woman was raped in what detectives are treating as a “racially aggravated attack”. ‌

Officers received the report of the serious sexual assault involving a British-born woman in her 20s at 8.30am on Tuesday. The report alleged that she had been raped by two men in the Tame Road area of Oldbury. ‌

Police have said the men allegedly made a racist remark during the attack, as officers appeal for members of the public who may have witnessed anything to come forward. ‌

Ch Supt Kim Madill said: "We are working really hard to identify those responsible, with CCTV, forensic and other inquiries well under way."
