An Office Depot employee in Portage, Michigan, has been fired after a heated confrontation with members of the Kalamazoo County Republican Party. The dispute, which was captured on video and quickly went viral, centered on the employee’s refusal to print posters honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was recently killed.
The posters were intended for a vigil held at Bronson Park in downtown Kalamazoo.
According to Republican activist Matthew DePerno, the group was told by the employee that the store “ doesn’t print political propaganda .”
