TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office says a person is dead after their vehicle was swept away in a wash.

Two people were rescued.

The CCSO says it happened near Ocotillo Road at milepost one.

Multiple agencies, including the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Cochise County Search and Rescue, Benson Police Department, Benson Fire Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Hawkeye air support, responded to the scene.
