Ange Postecoglou reacts during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Nottingham Forest

Ange Postecoglou admitted a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal came on the back of a ‘disruptive week’ for his Nottingham Forest players.

The 60-year-old was appointed Reds head coach on Tuesday and had minimal time with his squad before their trip to the Emirates Stadium. It meant little opportunity for the new man to implement his ideas.

Postecoglou explained earlier in the week, he felt he needed to give players time to process the news of Nuno Espirito Santo’s departure. The Portuguese had been loved by the dressing room, and his sacking came just three games into the Premier League campaign.
