There’s something so lovely about reading another book by an author you already like. You get to crawl back in their brain for a bit and see what other stories it has come up with — and if you recognize anything at all from their previous books. It was with this attitude that I dived into Seattleite Lauren Appelbaum’s second novel, “An Introvert’s Guide to Life and Love.”
Like the heroine in her debut novel, “Rachel Weiss’s Group Chat,” the one in Appelbaum’s second book is a single Seattleite who is brave, but doesn’t quite know it yet.
