UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — You know your team is having a great game when the student section starts chanting “I believe that we will win” with 7:07 left in the second quarter.

That about sums up how Friday’s game went for Walsh Jesuit, who started strong and finished strong for a suffocating 31-0 victory over St. Ignatius at Don Shula Stadium on the campus of John Carroll University.

Walsh Jesuit, ranked No. 2 in this week’s cleveland.com top 25, has now allowed just 12 total points in its last three games, while putting up 91 on offense. Friday’s blowout was led by the Warriors’ two big offensive stars, RB Marty Tobin and WR Milan Parris.
