HUDSON, Ohio — Hudson junior running back Reno Ferri provided a spark offensively that was felt all night long. He rushed for over 100 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown to help the Explorers roll past Solon, 35-3.
Hudson, ranked 15th in this week’s cleveland.com Top 25, improves to 3-1. Solon is 1-3.
After a week of full padded practices, head coach Jeff Gough was satisfied with the way his team was able to respond off last week’s win vs. St. Vincent-St. Mary.
“The kids were locked in, we had probably three of our hardest practices (of the season) knowing that it’s a physical team we’re playing, and we have to get better,” Gough explained. “We’re still trying to improve as a team, but I think we took a step tonight.”
