Police are investigating after a male pedestrian was fatally hit at an intersection in South Nashville.
Officers were called to Haywood Lane near Hopedale Drive at around 8:20 p.m. on Sept. 11 for the report of a hit-and-run crash.
Police said Lha Tun, of Cimarron Way, was crossing Haywood Lane from north to south when he was hit by a dark-colored Dodge Charger in the middle of the street.
Police said in a Sept. 12 release the Charger continued east on Haywood Lane after the crash.
The pedestrian was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died.
Police said the driver's side of the suspect vehicle will have significant damage.
The Sept. 11 crash is the 14th such crash involving a pedestrian in Nashville so far in 2025. More: Controversial security company applies for
