A Delta couple may lose their home after police raided what they called an unlicensed after-hours nightclub in Vancouver’s Davie Village neighbourhood.

Undercover officers say they saw the sale of liquor and ecstasy-spiked “Super Gatorade,” according to a lawsuit filed by B.C.’s civil forfeiture director.

The lawsuit names Varinder Singh Randhawa, a taxi driver, as owner of Club24K and $6,600 in Canadian cash and US$225 seized during the police raid about a year ago.

The director is seeking the right to keep the money and his house on Summit Crescent in Delta, which he owns jointly with his wife, Mandip Kaur Randhawa, according to a lawsuit filed in B.C. Supreme Court.

She is also named as a defendant. The couple bought the house in 2022 and hold two mortgages on it, the claim said.
