Tennessee football looks to break its losing streak against Georgia when it hosts the Bulldogs in one of the top matchups of Week 3.

With ESPN's "College GameDay" on tap for the SEC opener for both powerhouses, the Vols will look to snap their eight-game losing streak against Georgia that dates back to 2017. Tennessee hasn't performed particularly well in those games, either, losing by double-digits in each matchup during the losing streak.

The Vols' offense looks strong with first-year Appalachian State transfer Joey Aguilar, who replaced Nico Iamaleava in the offseason after Iamaleava transferred to UCLA. Aguilar has passed for 535 yards with five touchdowns in two starts this season.

Georgia also has a new quarterback in 2025, as Gunner Stockton will lead the Bulldogs. Stockton was thrust into action in the SEC championship game and College Football Playoff last season after Carson Beck suffered a season-ending injury.
