Portland weekend weather: Some sun and some showers

So far, Saturday morning has been pretty cloudy in the Portland area, but a gradual clearing is expected to start midmorning and it should be a sunny afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The high will be around 78 degrees.

Overnight, the clouds will move back in and there’s a 50% chance of rain after 3 a.m.

Sunday, the chance of showers increases to 90%. Up to 1/4 inch of rain is possible, and the high will be about 69.

The clouds will clear out again and the start of the work week will be sunny. Monday’s high will be in the mid-70s and Tuesday’s in the mid-80s.
