The Dallas Cowboys had the sports world buzzing after Jerry Jones decided to trade Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. With Parsons long gone and the franchise focusing on the future, it appears that Jones is revealing more details about the trade negotiations he had before making the deal with Green Bay.
In an interview with Gary Myers of ESPN, the Cowboys' owner and general manager claimed that he initially called the New York Jets to gauge their interest in Parsons. Jones claims he asked for defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and draft picks, but New York essentially told him they weren't interested in meeting his asking price.
“As it would turn out, I initiated that with one of the [New York] teams, and you can guess that it was not with the Giants,” said Jerry Jones… “T
