Florida football faces a gargantuan task when it starts SEC play at No. 4 LSU on Sept. 13.
The Florida Gators (1-1) had some early-season confidence shook by an 18-16 upset loss to USF at The Swamp on Sept. 16. Now, UF travels to Tiger Stadium, where it's lost six of its last seven contests dating back to 2011. The Gators are seeking their first win in Baton Rouge since knocking off LSU 16-10 on Nov. 19, 2016.
Overall, the all-time series between Florida and LSU is tied at 34-34 (three ties). The Gators are coming off a 27-16 upset win over LSU in The Swamp in the last meeting between the schools on Nov. 16, 2024.
