The Greek star Giannis Antetokounmpo put on stellar efforts in the 2025 Eurobasket. After performing strongly in the quarterfinals game against Lithuania, the Greek Freak led the team to the semifinals against Turkey. He made strong preparation for the game, as a recently surfaced video showed him studying Turkey before the game.

Despite the preparation, Greece faced disappointment in the semifinals against Turkey. Eurohoops recently revealed that before the game, Alperen Sengun told his teammate Ercan Osmani he’d buy him a Rolex if he held Antetokounmpo under 20 points. The same happened as Giannis only scored 12 points, five assists, and 12 rebounds in that game. In the post-game interview, Sengun said he will keep his promise of gifting a Rolex.
