The Flagstaff Eagles football team got its first win of the season about as cleanly as it could have asked for Friday night in the Walkup Skydome. Flagstaff secured the victory and handed the Tempe Buffaloes their first loss, 48-12.

The Eagles, who entered the night 0-2 and had allowed 102 points across their first two games, overran a Buffaloes team that hadn’t allowed a point all year entering the game.
