Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett came to the defense of his teammate, who gave Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry all the bulletin board material he needed ahead of the teams' Week 2 matchup.

After Browns safety Grant Delpit told Cleveland media that tackling Henry is "not hard," Henry responded later on Thursday, saying, "He had a quote. We'll see on Sunday."

The message was sent, but Garrett did his best to do damage control, squashing any brewing animosity with a message that both defends his teammate and pays respect to Henry, one of the league's most dominant running backs.

"We got to go out there and prove it. Talk is cheap," Garrett said in a Friday news conference. "I mean, [Henry is] a hell of a player.
