Woman stayed in flat with body of friend she had killed for 11 days

A woman stayed in the flat where she had killed her friend alongside her body for 11 days, a court heard.

Janet Connor was found in a flat after neighbours reported a concerning smell coming from the property.

When police attended and no-one answered, an officer climbed inside through the open kitchen window.

They could never have imagined the scene they would find at the property in Church, Lancs on January 14.
