CLEVELAND, Ohio – A recent column asking for feedback about “Where do you meet God?” led to close to 100 replies. Most had special sunset places, their back yards, hiking, etc.

I used some of those comments last week.

But a few comments were challenging.

“I’ll tell you where God is or where I meet God. No where. Because God sees fit to take away anything good I’ve had in my life.

“There was the love of my life, a female friend who meant more to me than my own sister … I reached out to this God to reconcile all my misgivings … He sees fit to give my mother, the most devout person I know, crippling back issues. He strikes her husband, my stepfather, with dementia. Now take in mind this all has taken place in the last five years.”
