INDIANAPOLIS — Rebound for re-entry was the name of the game Saturday. Teams not only played to win, but they also played to celebrate second chances with the help of PACE.
Daimon Culpepper, who finished his 15-year prison sentence six months ago, played in the tournament.
"It gave me a lot of opportunities. It did a lot actually. PACE is a very intricate part of my life at this moment," Culpepper said.
PACE supports formerly incarcerated people and their families re-enter the community helping with mental health, substance abuse resources and more.
Lawyer Tyler Zipes volunteers with PACE and organized the tournament and fundraiser.
