A first grader in Oklahoma got the moment of a lifetime when her father surprised her at school after being deployed overseas for nearly a year.

Austin Bonstetter, a mechanic in the U.S. Army, had been stationed in the Middle East for 10 months, per local news outlets KJRH , KOTV and Fox 23 .
