COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Julian Sayin has perfectly transitioned into the role of starting quarterback at Ohio State , and he’s made it look a little too easy.

He’s played two games against opponents at opposite ends of the competitive spectrum, and not once has he looked out of his element.

A 14-7 win over Texas in his debut should’ve been filled with a mixed bag of results because it would’ve been normal to think that a redshirt freshman with 27 snaps to his name wouldn’t look like the five-year vet he was replacing . Instead, his coaches left that game thinking maybe they had the training wheels on a little too tightly.
