LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Funeral services have been set for longtime Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw, who died earlier this week at the age of 81.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 22, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son in Westport Village.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A burial at Cavalry Cemetery will follow the Mass.
Holsclaw served as Jefferson County Clerk for more than 20 years, leading the office since 1999.
She was also the chairperson of the county's Board of Elections and was widely recognized for her efforts to expand accessibility for voters.
Mayor Craig Greenberg is set to appoint Holsclaw's successor, but a timeline for that process has not yet been provided.
