AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. -- During the annual Cops, Cars and Cruisers event, law enforcement agencies honored the memory of the Spokane County Sheriff's Office Sergeant who died in the line of duty last month.

Sgt. Kenneth Salas was struck by a motorcycle and killed while trying to clear a hay bale from I-90 near the Four Lakes exit last month.

During the Cops, Car and Cruisers event, his name was added to the Liberty Lake Police Department Memorial Car, which honors the memory of fallen law enforcement from Washington and Idaho.
