Officers issued 13 citations during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint was held at Pacific Coast Highway and Loynes Drive from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Eight drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license and five motorists were cited for traffic violations, police said.
