EAST PUTNAM, Conn. (WFSB) - The East Putnam Fire department responded to a boat fire Saturday afternoon.

The boat caught fire at 265 Elmwood Hill Road.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out before it damaged any nearby homes.

The Putnam Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
