A fight in the street near the Pulse memorial allegedly started over flags.

Activist Zane Aparicio, who goes by Cait, said the man is known to the group and reportedly escalated his usual behavior, prompting police involvement.

"I know this was an escalation of his usual behavior," Aparicio said.

Activists reported that the man pulled up to the Pulse site while they were across the street at Dunkin, pulled flags out of the ground at the Pulse site, and threw them into traffic.
