Trump Announces White House Ballroom Will be ‘A Little Bigger’ Than Initially Planned

President Donald Trump told NBC News on Saturday that his controversial new White House ballroom would be “a little bigger” than initially planned.

In a telephone interview with NBC News, Trump revealed that the planned capacity for the ballroom was now set to be nearly 40% bigger. The ballroom will be able to hold a maximum capacity of 900 people – a significant increase over the original planned maximum capacity of 650.

“We’re making it a little bigger,” he said. “It will be top of the line, as good as it can get anywhere in the world.”

Development of the new ballroom is estimated to cost at least $200 million.
