JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — A rash of tire slashings has hit Junction City, and police are looking for whoever is behind it.

Investigators say the damage happened between Sept. 7 and Sept. 13, mostly in the 200 to 400 blocks of West 5th and West 6th Streets. Officers have also fielded calls from nearby areas.

Several vehicles were hit, and police are gathering evidence as the investigation continues.

Residents are urged to check their cars, review any security video, and report suspicious activity. Tips can be called in to Junction City Police at 785-762-5912 or given anonymously through Geary County Crime Stoppers at 785-762-8477.
