The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team is in eighth place after two rounds at the Goledn Grizzlies Intercollegiate on Saturday in Rochester, Michigan.

The Mastodons shot 304-292-596, topping three of the seven Horizon League foes in the process. The Mastodons are three shots back of Wright State.

Brock Reschly is in 14th place with a 74-71-145, the best of the Mastodons on day one. He birdied two holes, the fourth and 12th and parred 11 others. In round two, he started with four pars before his first bogey of the round. After a par on 15, he eagled the 551-yard 16th and parred three more. Later on, he finished his day with back-to-back birdies on eight and nine.
