A teenager will face a children's court charged over an alleged stabbing in the state's North West.
Just before 1am on Sunday, September 14, emergency services were called to a motel on Alice Street, Moree, following reports of the incident.
Officers attached to the New England Police District were told about five individuals who had allegedly forced entry into a room before they were confronted by a 52-year-old man.
Police allege an altercation occurred, during which the man was allegedly stabbed in the torso and arm.
Four of the group fled the scene.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to a hospital in a stable condition.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and taken to Moree Police Station, where he was charged with reckless wounding, face bl
