WILSON, N.Y. — The Wilson Central School District launched a formal investigation in connection to a staff member's social media comments about Charlie Kirk following his shooting death.
The district posted a letter to the school community on its Facebook page on Friday.
"The Wilson Central School District was recently made aware of multiple social media posts by a staff member that have caused concern and distress among members of our school and broader community," the letter superintendent Timothy P. Carter read.
"We want to assure you that we take these concerns very seriously."
