BERLIN, Conn. — The excitement continues as fair season carries on in Connecticut .
Plenty of people have already traveled to Berlin this weekend as the fair welcomed the start of fall, making its 76th appearance .
On Friday, Berlin students got the day off to enjoy the festivities, a recurring staple of the start to the school year.
"Oh, it's amazing, this is amazing. Every year we're going to keep coming back. This is the third time this week," said Jorge Echevarra who came with his daughter.
Outside of the food, games and rides, the Berlin Fair offered people one final hurrah for the summer and time to catch up with some old friends.
"I go to college up in Springfield, so coming home every year for the fair, it's truly nice," said Berlin native Michael Muscatello.
The Berlin
