People with a Blue Badge are being warned they need to act to make sure they may need to act this month. And getting it wrong could even end in a fine.
The latest statistics from the Department for Transport reveal that there are currently more than 3.2 million Blue Badge holders in England and Scotland (235,779). In 2019, the eligibility criteria for a Blue Badge was expanded to include people with hidden disabilities such as Parkinson's, dementia and epilepsy, enabling more individuals to park closer to their destinations when travelling as either a driver or passenger .
