STEUBENVILLE – The Big Red girls’ soccer keeps on rolling.

Big Red scored a little more than two minutes into its match against Brooke, and Big Red went on to take down the Bruins, Saturday afternoon on Reno Saccoccia Field inside Harding Stadium.

“We scored on a corner,” Big Red (7-1-1) head coach Annie Cutri said. “I love it when our girls get corners. We have girls in front of the net who are aggressive. We got a good service, and Brynn was able to get a head on it. The header was awesome. The service was perfect.

“We were able to score early. We were able to get up early, and that is something we wanted to do. We didn’t want to have to wait until the second half to get going. We were trying to get one early. We didn’t want to wait to get going.”
