SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus hosted its annual town hall meeting on Saturday afternoon.
It was held at the United Auto Workers Hall.
This was a chance for folks in South Bend to get an update about the latest legislative session. Mayor James Mueller and State Rep. Maureen Bauer were among those who were in attendance.
There was talk surrounding recent concerns for Hoosiers, including redistricting and Senate Bill 1, which concerns your property taxes.
Carolyn Jackson, who represents northwest Indiana, spoke about quality of life issues and the cuts made this year.
