CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teenage boy was shot to death on the city's South Side on Saturday night, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the Morgan Park neighborhood's 11300-block of South Carpenter Street around 7:15 p.m.

A 17-year-old boy was standing on the sidewalk when someone inside a blue sedan fired shots, striking him in the chest, police said.
Police said the victim was transported in critical condition to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office later identified him as Ian Williams.
