Ricky Hatton found dead at home as tributes flood in

British boxing legend Ricky Hatton is dead. The former boxing champ was found dead at his home in Greater Manchester.

He was 46. A police cordon is in place at his home on Bowlacre Road in Gee Cross, Hyde, the MEN reports .

Greater Manchester Police said a body has been discovered. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

It comes months after he announced his return to boxing with a fight scheduled in December.

Mr Hatton had spoken openly about struggles with mental health and drug addiction.

In a glittering career, he held multiple world championships, as well as UK titles, and was named Fighter of the Year in 2015.
